New Beginnings

Romans 6:3-5

3 Or don’t you know that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? 4 We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.5 For if we have been united with him in a death like his, we will certainly also be united with him in a resurrection like his.

The word of God tell us that the enemy comes to “kill, steal and destroy”. Its the enemies profession to kill, steal and destroy as much as we allow him to, in our lives. This is the part that got me….the things that the enemy cannot kill, steal and destroy, he will begin to play tricks with your mind. He will paint pictures of relationships and situations in your mind that portrays them in the most negative way possible. These “visions” will have you so worked up and frustrated that you will pick up the knife yourself and “kill off”this things because you perceive them in the way the enemy has painted it. I hope that didnt seem too deep and it made sense…Your mind is the enemies battlefield.

Now, Jesus came that we might have life and have it more abundantly. There is provision made for us in Christ to overcome this battle and truly live an abundant life in Him. That one of the reasons that I find praying in the spirit to be a powerful resource. I don’t have the words to express to God what was wrong but I know that the Spirit can pray on my behalf.

These moment of battle can make you feel like you are being crucified. The powerful truth is that after every crucifixion, there is ALWAYS a resurrection when you are IN CHRIST.

Have a new start

This is what allows us to have a new start! Life tries to crucify us but in Christ we can rise up and have a new beginning. No matter how dark your situation may be, you CAN have a new beginning in Christ.

I feel as if I am just touching the tip of the ice berg on this one but I am releasing to you as much as I can verbalize at the moment. You are my sister and I love you. I pray you are strengthened. Rise up in the power of His might and walk in the new life Jesus has given you.
